A total of 272 drivers competed in the NASCAR Grand
National events contested at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Richard Petty recorded the most starts with 39 during his career. Buddy
Arrington and J.D. McDuffie are tied for second with 29 starts each.
Fourth place belongs to Bobby Allison with 28, while in fifth place is
James Hylton with 26 starts.
There were 17 drivers who competed
at Nashville Farigrounds Speedway that were NASCAR Winston
Cup Champions. Of the 272 drivers that
competed on the histoic track, 22 have been inducted into
NASCAR's Hall of Fame as of the start of the 2021 season.

NASCAR/ARCA seasons, of the 272 drivers that competed at Nashville
Fairgrounds Speedway's Grand National events, there are no
drivers currently active. Darrell Basham and Morgan Shephred remained active
until 2019. Two former Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway drivers are currently listed as owners in
NASCAR, they are Richard Petty and Richard Childress.
